DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Rashaun Hopkins is an American football wide receiver born June 6, 1992, in Central, South Carolina. He attended Clemson, where he played from 2010 through 2012 before entering the 2013 NFL Draft. The Houston Texans selected him in the first round with the 27th overall pick. Hopkins is listed at 6-foot-1 and has built his reputation as a physical, technically refined receiver with excellent body control, concentration and contested-catch ability.

Hopkins spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with Houston before joining the Arizona Cardinals in 2020. He later played for the Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. His honors include five Pro Bowl selections, multiple All-Pro recognitions and a place on the NFL All-Rookie Team after his first professional season. NFL team materials have highlighted his size, catch radius, ability to win contested catches and skill at reading defensive coverage.

As of September 13, 2026, Hopkins is a free agent rather than a member of the Tennessee Titans or another confirmed NFL roster. NFL.com reported that he remains interested in continuing his playing career and hopes to join a contender, while also describing the 2026 season as a possible final year. In July 2026, he spent time with the New England Patriots in a coaching and football-operations setting, but that was not a playing contract.
