Cory Littleton, born on November 18, 1993, is well-known in the world of American professional football, where he has made a name for himself as a skilled linebacker. Despite being a free agent, he commands an impressive presence on the football field.

Littleton’s football journey started in college when he played for the Washington Huskies. His skills on the field caught the attention of the Los Angeles Rams. Despite going undrafted in the 2016 NFL draft, on May 4, 2016, Littleton was signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in a three-year deal worth $1.63 million, including a $15,000 signing bonus.

With the Rams, he battled for a roster spot as a backup outside linebacker against other talented players like Josh Forrest, Cameron Lynch, Ian Seau, and Matthew Wells. Despite the stiff competition, Littleton had enough talent to earn the spot of backup outside linebacker behind Akeem Ayers and Mark Barron in the regular season under head coach Jeff Fisher. His regular-season debut against the San Francisco 49ers was marked by a significant 28–0 road loss, which he quickly shook off. Notably, during the 13th week of the season, he performed impressively with eight combined tackles during a 26–10 loss against the New England Patriots.

In 2017, the Rams underwent a shake-up when Washington Redskins’ offensive coordinator Sean McVay was announced as their new head coach and Wade Phillips was made the defensive coordinator. Littleton successfully competed to become a backup inside linebacker, finishing that year’s season strong with a slew of accomplishments.

Littleton’s career continued to progress, and he was slated as a starting inside linebacker after Ogletree left the Rams for the New York Giants. Littleton and Mark Barron were named the starting inside linebackers for the regular season, solidifying Littleton’s place in the team’s lineup.

However, that was not the only feather in his cap that year, as he finished the season with an impressive tally of 125 tackles, a career-high four sacks, 13 pass deflections and three interceptions.

After completing his stint with the Rams, he signed with the Las Vegas Raiders in a three-year, $36 million contract. Unfortunately, he was listed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, but was later reinstated. During his time with the Raiders, Littleton continued to make marks, notably recording 14 total tackles during a game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
