Born and raised in Saraland, Alabama, Cordale began to cultivate his love for football at a young age. He attended Saraland High School. While there, his passion for the game became evident, and he started garnering attention as a promising player.

During his time at high school, Cordale was acknowledged as a three-star recruit. He initially had plans to join the college football team at Auburn but had a change of heart and instead committed to playing for the Louisiana State University (LSU).
