Cole Christiansen

Cole Christiansen is an American football linebacker who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2020. He attended the United States Military Academy, where he played for Army and became known for his tackling, leadership and physical style of play. Christiansen was listed at 6 feet 1 inch and 230 pounds, and his listed birth date is July 30, 1997.

After his time with the Chargers, Christiansen joined the Kansas City Chiefs organization in 2022. His career has included movement between the active roster and practice squad, reflecting his role as a depth linebacker and special-teams contributor. The Chiefs’ official player page records his professional path from Los Angeles to Kansas City and identifies Army as his college.

As of October 2, 2026, Christiansen is listed with Kansas City, but the available dated roster information places him on the Chiefs’ practice squad rather than confirming an active-roster role. Kansas City announced his practice-squad signing on September 1, 2026, while the NFL’s 2026 roster lists him with a developmental designation. His playing profile is centered on reliable tackling, defensive awareness and effort on special teams.
