Billy Turner, born on October 17, 1991, is an American football offensive guard for the Los Angeles Rams in the National Football League (NFL). Born and raised in Shoreview, Minnesota, Turner attended Mounds View High School, where he first garnered attention for his football abilities. A three-year letterman, Turner led his team to three consecutive regional championships.

Turner’s collegiate journey saw him attend North Dakota State University. During his four-year tenure from 2010 to 2013, Turner played 56 games at the tackle position and became a first-team All-American twice. This period was followed by the Bison’s three-time triumph at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) national championship.

Following his successful college career, Turner entered the NFL, chosen by the Miami Dolphins during the third round of the 2014 NFL draft, 67th overall. Although his rookie season was hard with changes in the coaching staff and an offensive line hit by injuries, Turner soldiered on, making his first NFL start in the final week of his rookie year against the New York Jets.
