Torrey Craig

Torrey Craig is a professional basketball player from the United States. He currently plays for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Craig was born in Great Falls, Montana on June 22nd, 1991. Growing up in Montana he attended Great Falls High School where he played both football and basketball.

Craig decided to focus solely on basketball his junior year of high school and eventually went on to become an All-State selection his senior season before graduating in 2009. Following high school he accepted a scholarship offer from University of South Carolina Upstate where as a freshman, Torrey appeared in all 32 games and started 10 of them while averaging 8 points per game, 4 rebounds per game, 1 steal per game and 1 block per game earning him Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman Player of the Year honors.

In 2012 Craig transferred to University Of Wyoming where as a junior earned 2013-2014 Mountain West Conference Defensive Player Of The Year honors alongside being named an All-Mountain West Honorable Mention during his senior campaign for leading the Cowboys with 15 points and 7 rebounds per contest during their 2014 NCAA Tournament appearance loss against Northern Iowa Panthers. As college career concluded following graduation from Wyoming in 2015 with over 30 double figure scoring performances throughout four years across two different universities combined with numerous other awards such as MVP at Portsmouth Invitational Tournament & Best Defender/Best Rebounder/Best Overall Player at Las Vegas LeBron James Skills Academy , Torrey went undrafted during that summer’s NBA Draft but was soon after signed by Idaho Stampede G League affiliate side of Portland Trailblazers organization who already had its eyes set on him due to his impressive pre draft workouts resulting into signing two way contract between Stampede & Trailblazers later that same year which lasted until 2016 when Craig moved across world by joining Brisbane Bullets NBL outfit based out Australia native country while also representing New Zealand national team internationally 2017 FIBA Asia Cup tournament held Lebanon resulting invitation join Brooklyn Nets summer league roster following successful stint playing down under
