Jaren Jackson Jr.

Jaren Jackson Jr. is one of the most promising young stars in the NBA today. He was born on September 15, 1999 in Michigan to parents Steven and Terri Jackson. Growing up, he developed a passion for basketball early on and attended Park Tudor High School where he excelled at both academic and athletic pursuits. As a sophomore he led his team to an IHSAA state championship with averages of 21 points per game and 10 rebounds per game, earning himself All-State honors in the process.

Jackson went on to attend Michigan State University where he had an impressive two year career under head coach Tom Izzo before declaring for the 2018 NBA Draft after his freshman season. He was selected fourth overall by the Memphis Grizzlies and made an instant impact during his rookie campaign averaging 13 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks in 28 minutes per game while shooting 41% from three point range; all of which are impressive numbers for such a young player playing significant minutes against veteran competition in the NBA Western Conference.

During his time with Memphis Grizzlies so far Jaren has established himself as one of their go-to players offensively due to his ability to shoot from long range as well as attack off dribble drives efficiently using his long wingspan (7’4’’) combined with solid ball handling skills that allow him to get past defenders who are bigger but not quicker or more agile than him; something that very few big men can do at this level so early on into their careers. Additionally Jaren is also highly regarded for being such a strong defender both individually ,using great footwork technique when guarding opposing players1on1,and collectively when executing defensive schemes for coach Taylor Jenkins as part of Memphis’ stingy defense anchored by center Jonas Valanciunas . Furthermore Jackson has been able show glimpses of leadership potential despite being only 20 years old which bodes well for him moving forward considering how much room there still is left for growth given how much experience he lacks compared to other veterans around the league .

Overall Jarem Jackson Jr’s star potential looks extremely bright heading into this season particularly now that he has been named one if not thee cornerstone pieces going forward along side Ja Morant ,Dillon Brooker & Brandon Clarke forming what could be potentially one if not thee best nucleus among current Western conference teams over the next several seasons . His combination off size , athleticism ,skill set & intangibles make it seem likely that we may see reach multiple AllStar appearances throughout what should be become a successful career barring any injuries or other unforeseen circumstances down line
