Born on May 19, 1997, Víctor Enrique Robles Brito is a notable figure in Major League Baseball (MLB). Hailing from the Dominican Republic, Robles has carved out a successful career as a professional baseball outfielder, primarily recognized for his tenure with the Washington Nationals and, more recently, the Seattle Mariners.

Robles ventured into the world of professional baseball in 2013, signing as an international free agent with the Washington Nationals. Making his professional debut the following year with the Dominican Summer League Nationals, he swiftly proved his talent as a rookie in the Dominican Summer League. His successful season, punctuated by a .313 batting average and three home runs in 47 games, paved the way for subsequent moves up the ladder.

In 2015, Robles started with the Gulf Coast Nationals. Following a stint with the Auburn Doubledays, he ended the season having secured an impressive batting average of .352 with four home runs and 27 runs batted in (RBI). The next year saw him begin with the Hagerstown Suns, followed by a promotion to the Potomac Nationals. After attaining a .324 batting average, three home runs, and 14 RBI, Robles ascended the ladder again in 2017. His major league debut was against the Philadelphia Phillies, marking him as the youngest player in that year’s Major League Baseball season. Despite his first major league hit being ruled out for sliding past the third base, he wrapped up the 2017 season with a .250 batting average, two triples, a double and driving in four runs.

Upon his return in 2018, he batted .288/.348/.525 with three home runs, confirming his resilience. The following year turned fruitful, with Robles batting .255/.326/.419, 65 RBI, and 28 stolen bases. The year also marked Robles as the center fielder with most assists and best Defensive Runs Saved (DRS) rating in the major leagues, highlighting his invaluable defensive ability.

However, the subsequent years were challenging. His batting average dropped in 2020 to .220/.293/.315, with three home runs and 15 RBI. In 2021, he struggled offensively, leading to his optioning to the Rochester Red Wings. 2022 started on a good note, with a batting average of .224/.273/.311, but he was placed on the injured list due to spasms in his lumbar spine.

In 2024, after moving on from the Nationals, Robles joined the Seattle Mariners. Despite playing only 14 games that season, he signed a two-year, $9.75 million contract extension, reinforcing his place in the team.
