Trevor John Story, born on November 15, 1992, is an esteemed baseball player in the United States, serving as a shortstop and second baseman for the Boston Red Sox in Major League Baseball (MLB). Before joining the Red Sox, he showcased his prodigious talents with the Colorado Rangers, his journey into professional baseball having begun in earnest in 2016.
As a rookie, Story set an MLB record by hitting home runs in his first four games, demonstrating his potential and heralding a bright future in the sport. His bat prowess continued to manifest as he tied the MLB rookie record for home runs for the month of April. His exceptional performance during the rookie’s month was recognized when he was named the National League’s Rookie of the Month for April 2016.
