Santiago Roman Espinal, a Dominican born professional baseball infielder, was born on November 13, 1994, and currently plays for the Cincinnati Reds in Major League Baseball (MLB). Espinal’s career in MLB has seen him play previously for the Toronto Blue Jays, but his journey in the sport commenced long before MLB and has had its fair share of transitions and significant achievements.

Espinal spent his early years growing up in the Dominican Republic until he was 13, before making a move to the United States. He received his high school education in Longwood, Florida, at Lyman High School for four years. After a short move to New York, he completed his high school education through Penn Foster High School.
