David Festa

David Festa, a highly regarded professional baseball pitcher who enjoyed a decorated career in the college circuit before etching his mark in the national space, was born on March 8th, 2000 in the United States. His journey to the upper echelons of the sport began in West Orange, New Jersey, and threaded through numerous stages of accomplishment and growth. Currently, David Festa pitches for the Minnesota Twins, a prominent team in Major League Baseball (MLB).

Festa’s early love for baseball was nurtured at Seton Hall Preparatory School in West Orange, New Jersey. His remarkable talents were polished at Seton Hall University, where he played college baseball. Demonstrating an exceptional command over his sport, Festa attracted the attention of professional scouts and in 2021 was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 13th round of the Major League Baseball Draft.

With the Twins, Festa cut his teeth in the world of professional baseball. His first professional season was divided between the rookie-level Florida Complex League Twins and Single-A Fort Myers Mighty Mussels. Festa demonstrated remarkable capacity and skill during his time on these two teams, refining his pitching technique and building his record.

At the dawn of 2022, Festa remained with Fort Myers. However, his above-average performances soon led to a promotion to the High-A Cedar Rapids Kernels. Dividing his time between the two affiliates, Festa made a total of 21 appearances, with an impressive record of 9 wins and 4 losses. The subsequent year was also filled with key milestones in Festa’s career. The 2023 season saw Festa dividing his time between the Double-A Wichita Wind Surge and Triple-A St. Paul Saints. He played 24 games, making 22 starts, and registered his growing excellence with a tally of 119 strikeouts and an earned run average of 4.19.

Continuing his ascent in professional baseball, Festa began the 2024 season with Triple-A St. Paul. Performing consistently well and showing improvement game by game, Festa impressed his team and spectators alike. David Festa was finally given the chance to pitch for the Minnesota Twins in an MLB matchup for the first time. His debut was on the same day as his promotion, against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
