Olivia Nelson-Ododa

Olivia Nelson-Ododa is a 6-foot-5 center for the Connecticut Sun, where the official WNBA roster listed her as No. 10 as of September 13, 2026. Born August 17, 2000, she attended the University of Connecticut and entered the WNBA when the Los Angeles Sparks selected her in the second round, 19th overall, of the 2022 draft. Connecticut acquired her from Los Angeles in a January 16, 2023 trade.

At UConn, Nelson-Ododa developed into a decorated interior presence, earning 2021 BIG EAST Co-Defensive Player of the Year recognition and an All-BIG EAST First Team selection in 2022. She helped the Huskies reach three NCAA Final Fours and the 2022 national-championship game. Her profile is built around length near the basket, interior defense and rebounding, with the mobility and passing touch to help connect an offense from the post. That combination made her a natural fit as a modern WNBA center and a useful frontcourt option for Connecticut.
