Elizabeth Williams is a 6-foot-3 center-forward for the Chicago Sky as of September 11, 2026. Chicago officially re-signed her on April 11, 2026, and she appears on the club’s current 2026 roster. Born June 23, 1993, in Colchester, England, Williams played collegiately at Duke before Connecticut selected her fourth overall in the 2015 WNBA Draft. She moved to the Atlanta Dream before the 2016 season, later played for the Washington Mystics, and joined Chicago in 2023.
Williams has built her reputation around interior defense: protecting the rim, contesting shots, rebounding, communicating in the lane and providing a physical screen-and-roll presence on offense. Her recognition includes the 2016 WNBA Most Improved Player award, a 2020 All-Defensive First Team selection and a 2023 All-Defensive Second Team selection. At Duke, she was a four-time Associated Press All-American and the 2015 WBCA National Defensive Player of the Year, reflecting the defensive foundation that has carried into her professional career.
