Chance Gray

Chance Gray is a 5-foot-9 guard from Cincinnati, Ohio, born July 6, 2004. She began her college career at Oregon, where she earned Pac-12 All-Freshman recognition in 2023, then transferred to Ohio State for her final two collegiate seasons. At Ohio State, Gray collected 2026 Big Ten Honorable Mention, Big Ten All-Tournament Team and Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honors, while also receiving CSC Academic All-District recognition. Before college, she played at Lakota West and Winton Woods and appeared in the 2022 McDonald’s All-American Game.

Gray was selected by the Los Angeles Sparks in the second round of the 2026 WNBA Draft, 24th overall, on April 13, 2026. As of September 11, 2026, the Sparks’ official roster lists her as No. 2, and the WNBA lists her as a rookie guard. Her profile is that of a perimeter-oriented guard: her college résumé includes major recognition for three-point shooting, while her experience at Oregon and Ohio State also reflects a role with ball-handling and playmaking responsibilities. Gray additionally represented the United States at the 2023 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup, where Team USA won silver.
