Bria Hartley Bio
Bria Hartley is a 5-foot-9 guard born September 30, 1992. She played collegiately at the University of Connecticut, where she was a four-year starter, helped the Huskies win NCAA championships in 2013 and 2014, and earned multiple All-America and conference honors. Seattle selected Hartley with the seventh overall pick in the first round of the 2014 WNBA Draft, then traded her to the Washington Mystics on draft night.
Hartley’s WNBA career has included tenures with Washington, New York, Phoenix, Indiana and Connecticut. She was named to the 2014 WNBA All-Rookie Team. Her most recently verified WNBA affiliation was with the Connecticut Sun: the league profile says she joined the Sun in July 2025 after Indiana waived her, while the Sun’s 2025 materials list her as a guard. In 2026, she also appeared on the published Athletes Unlimited Pro Basketball roster. Those sources do not establish a current WNBA-team contract as of September 11, 2026.
