Zhu Rong is a Chinese mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) lightweight division. He has quickly made a name for himself as one of the sport’s most promising athletes, having won all three of his previous MMA fights.

Rong was born on October 4th, 1989 in Yichun Jiangxi, China. From an early age he excelled at sports and soon developed an interest in MMA. After graduating from high school he enrolled at Beijing Sports University and began training with Team Elite Martial Arts Academy under head coach Wang Anhua. Impressed by Rong’s talent, they opened up their gym to him and allowed him to hone his craft while studying at university.

His first professional fight took place at The Ultimate Fighter: China Finale on March 1st 2014 when he knocked out Zhang Lipeng via TKO just 55 seconds into the first round to become the Featherweight Champion of that event. Following this impressive win, Zhu continued competing professionally in various organizations throughout Asia before signing with UFC in 2017 after winning a contract through their ‘Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series’ program which sees them sign standout fighters from around the world every week based on their performances during live competition events broadcast by UFC Fight Pass online streaming service.

In November 2018 Zhu made his official debut for UFC when he faced off against Felipe Silva at UFC Fight Night 140 where yet again he put forth an impressive performance against a more experienced opponent en route to earning another victory via unanimous decision after three rounds of action packed battle between these two top-level lightweights. This victory saw Zhu attain an undefeated 5-0 record thus far as an MMA fighter with all five wins coming either by knockout or submission within two rounds or less each time despite facing very stiff competition throughout his career so far due largely thanks to his excellent stand up skills complimented perfectly by strong ground game consisting mostly of judo throws and submissions holds; rendering opponents unable to mount any meaningful offense against him during bouts while also allowing him near total control over how long they last depending on what strategy works best situationally given match ups opponents present .

Finally it is clear that Zhu Rong is well on track towards establishing himself as one of China’s premier combat athletes should be able continue performing consistently like he has done so far along way showcasing top tier martial arts techniques dazzling fans onlookers alike further cementing admiration he now enjoys amongst countrymen home abroad making sure whole word takes notice whenever steps cage next time out!
