Ricky Turcios Bio
Ricky Turcios is an American mixed martial artist who has competed in the UFC’s bantamweight and featherweight divisions. UFC lists his birthplace as Houston, Texas, his fighting style as freestyle, and his professional career as beginning in 2013. He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and has represented Team Alpha Male and Gracie Barra The Woodlands.
Turcios became widely known through The Ultimate Fighter 29, where he defeated Dan Argueta and Liudvik Sholinian before winning the season’s bantamweight final against Brady Hiestand by split decision on August 28, 2021. That result established him as the season’s bantamweight tournament winner and led to his UFC run.
In the UFC, Turcios has been associated with an active, unconventional freestyle approach and has primarily won decisions. His documented UFC appearances include a decision victory over Kevin Natividad in November 2022, followed by bouts with Raul Rosas Jr. and Bernardo Sopaj. His most recent listed UFC appearance was a featherweight bout against Alberto Montes at UFC 326 on March 7, 2026.
