BIOGRAPHY
Mike Davis is a professional mixed martial artist and professional fighter who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He currently fights in the featherweight division.
Davis was born on November 8, 1997 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Growing up he had his sights set on becoming a professional boxer but at the age of 13 began training MMA instead. After high school graduation Mike attended Mid-American College where he studied exercise science and health promotion as well as competed for their collegiate wrestling team. In 2017 Davis made his debut with The Ultimate Fighter Finale where he won a unanimous decision victory over Aaron Phillips earning himself both an entry into UFC and Fight of the Night honors from Sherdog.
Since that time Mike has gone on to make appearances in multiple octagon events including twelve total bouts with six wins and six losses within those events thus far. Some notable matchups include victories against Jared Gordon at UFC Fight Night: dos Santos vs Ivanov (2018) as well as Giga Chikadze at UFC 246 (2020). On April 10th 2021 Davis earned another impressive victory by knockout when he faced Luis Saldana at UFC 261 bringing his current win/loss record to 7-6 overall while also proving himself to be one of the most feared opponents any featherweight can face off against inside the cage today.
