BIOGRAPHY

Mark Striegl is an MMA fighter hailing from the Philippines. The 30 year old featherweight fighter has been competing in combat sports since 2008 and his career highlight was winning a title at Pacific Xtreme Combat (PXC). He also has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a black belt in Judo.

Striegl started his martial arts journey when he was 14 years old, starting with karate and then adding judo to the mix later on. He trained hard for two years before competing in local tournaments, winning them all. His success brought him to Japan where he competed against some of the best judokas and karatekas in the world. This experience made him realise that if he worked hard enough and got better technique, he could be one of the best fighters around.

In 2009, Striegl made his professional MMA debut at PXC 23 against Yusuke Endo; unfortunately losing via armbar submission but later avenging this loss by defeating Endo twice more – once by unanimous decision, then again via guillotine choke submission victory which earned him Performance Of The Night honors from PXC officials.
