BIOGRAPHY

Landon Quinones is an American mixed martial artist competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Featherweight division. He began his professional career in 2011 and has gone on to become one of the most successful featherweights in recent years. In 2020, he was crowned champion of the UFC Featherweight Championship after defeating Ortega by unanimous decision at UFC 257.

Growing up in rural Wisconsin, Landon aspired to be a professional athlete from a young age. Becoming involved with wrestling and MMA early on shaped him into the fighter he is today. After graduating high school, Landon moved to Las Vegas to further pursue his dream of becoming a professional athlete. He studied under renowned coaches like Rafael Cordeiro and Robert Drysdale before making his debut at various local events around Nevada where he gained recognition for being able to effectively utilize both striking and grappling skills within fights.

It didn’t take long for promoters to recognize Landon Quinones’ potential as an elite fighter, leading him to sign with some of the biggest promotions including Legacy FC and Titan FC before finally signing with UFC in 2015 where he made his debut against Leonard Garcia at The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale event which saw him get declared victorious by unanimous decision after three rounds of intense action-packed combat inside The Octagon™️ .

Since then, it has been nothing but success for “The Lion” as he went on an impressive 8-2 win streak that saw him winning several performance bonuses along the way which ultimately led him towards becoming champion when defended his title against top contender Brian Ortega earlier this year at UFC 257 main event where again emerged victorious via a clear 3 round match that left no doubt who was superior between them two fighters that night!

Outside of fighting, Landon enjoys spending time outdoors camping or fishing whenever possible while also keeping up with current affairs & politics so that he can stay informed about what’s happening around world; staying active mentally aside from just physically keeps mind sharped & ready for any challenge comes across life!
