BIOGRAPHY

Kevin Croom is a professional mixed martial artist who fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born on August 23, 1986, in Springfield, Missouri. Growing up as an athlete, he participated in a variety of sports including wrestling and football before eventually settling on MMA.

Croom began training at the age of 16 when he joined the Springfield Fight Club under the tutelage of former UFC fighter Monte Cox. Known for his strong clinch work and submission grappling skills, Croom quickly became one of the top amateur fighters in Missouri and beyond. After winning numerous regional titles and two national championships during his amateur career, he turned pro in 2010 with an impressive 8-1 record.

Since then Kevin has gone on to fight for some of MMA’s biggest promotions such as Bellator FC and RFA before eventually landing a contract with UFC in 2020. In 2021 he made his debut against Bryce Mitchell at UFC 259 where he won via majority decision after three hard-fought rounds against one of MMA’s rising stars.
