Juan Espino is a professional mixed martial artist in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born on October 7, 1990 in San Diego, California and has been training since he was a young boy. Growing up with siblings who were into MMA, Juan quickly developed an interest in it too and began competing when he was 15. His career has taken him all over the world, as he’s fought in various countries including Japan, Mexico and Brazil.

Throughout his career, Juan Espino has competed for multiple organizations such as Strikeforce: Challengers Series and Bellator Fighting Championships. In 2019, Espino signed to compete exclusively under the UFC banner after proving himself one of the top fighters outside of its promotion. Since then he has had four victories against some of his toughest opponents yet—Espino most recently defeated Roman Dolidze at UFC Fight Night 177 via first-round submission on September 5th 2020.

At 5’11” fighting at Light Heavyweight division (205 lbs) Juan often uses his athleticism to outstrike or take down opponents from longer reach giving him an advantage from ground control position where many believe that is true strength lies in which allowed him to display good technique overall but also how well rounded he truly can be as well pounding out decisions due to superior cardio conditioning displaying great wrestling skill set partnered with effective Jiu-Jitsu set ups leading into perfectly timed submissions wins when needed or sleek powerful striking setting up brutal knock outs!
