Harry Hardwick Bio

Harry Hardwick is an English mixed martial artist from Middlesbrough who competes in the UFC featherweight division. As of October 1, 2026, the UFC lists “Houdini” as an active fighter training at Middlesbrough Fight Academy. He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall, has a 71-inch reach and made his professional MMA debut in 2015.

Hardwick established himself as a leading British featherweight in Cage Warriors. He captured the promotion’s vacant featherweight championship by stopping Orlando Wilson Prins in Newcastle on May 25, 2024, then successfully defended it against Keweny Lopes in November 2024. A technical-decision victory over Javier Garcia in March 2025 completed another successful title defense before Hardwick moved to the UFC later that year.

Hardwick accepted his UFC debut against Kauê Fernandes on five days’ notice and entered the Octagon in Paris on September 6, 2025. He returned to his preferred featherweight division against Marwan Rahiki on March 14, 2026. A Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt, Hardwick is known for composure under pressure, persistent forward movement and the ability to work through difficult positions. His “Houdini” nickname originated after he survived repeated submission attempts against Robbie Fallon before turning that bout around.
