BIOGRAPHY

Drako Rodriguez is a mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is known for his impressive striking and well-rounded ground game. Born in Los Angeles, California on April 5, 1985, Rodriguez was raised by a single mother. From an early age he was exposed to various forms of combat including kickboxing, Muay Thai and wrestling.

At 22 years old he turned professional with two amateur fights under his belt. After making his debut win over Leon Cooper at Xplode Fight Series: New Blood in 2010, Rodriguez quickly moved up the ranks and established himself as one of the top rising stars on the scene in just three short years.

From 2013 to 2019 Drako competed around the world with notable victories over fighters such as Ryan Jimmo and Nick Osipczak among others while gathering fans along the way due to his exciting fighting style that showcased technical striking combined with powerful grappling techniques from both top control positions or from bottom guard position submissions scenarios.

His signature move became known as “The Drakonator” – a combination where he would attempt multiple strikes such as elbows followed by vicious guillotine chokes which either resulted in submission wins or brutal knockouts depending on what happened first!

In July 2020 after nearly nine years of MMA experience outside UFC promotion, Drake signed an exclusive contract with them joining its Light Heavyweight division alongside names like Jon Jones or Dominick Reyes amongst others. Since joining UFC roster he had two successful fights against Maki Pitolo at UFC Vegas 10 which ended via TKO finish within 2 rounds followed by another spectacular finish against Shinsho Anzai at UFC Fight Night 183 only weeks later ending this time within 1 round via Guillotine Choke submission technique.

With potential future bouts upcoming soon it will be interesting to see how far can this young Californian fighter go inside Ultimate Fighting Championship organization however one thing is certain – if you are fan of flashy yet effective combinations then make sure not miss any clash involving “The Drakonator” because you might end up seeing something spectacular!
