Denys Bondar

Denys Bondar is a Ukrainian mixed martial arts fighter, currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He was born on June 8th, 1992 in Donetsk, Ukraine and started training at a young age. Growing up in an area of constant struggle and conflict, Bondar quickly developed his desire to fight and the will to survive.

Bondar’s career began with Kharkivska MMA Federation before he moved onto multiple promotion events around Europe. After his impressive performance at Europe’s most elite fighters event – ‘King of Kings’ – Bondar received offers from major promotions such as M-1 Global, Cage Warriors and Road FC throughout 2015-2018. With wins over respected opponents such as former UFC fighter Lukasz Chlewicki and Road FC Lightweight Champion Kwon A Sol under his belt, it was only matter of time before Bondar made it to the UFC.

In 2019 Denys signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship where he won his debut match against Ismail Naurdiev by split decision at UFC Fight Night 145 in Prague Czech Republic. Following that win Bondar took a victory over Aleksandrs Cizovs by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 157 which earned him Performance of The Night award. As one of Ukraine’s top athletic prospects today, Denys has established himself as an exciting competitor who puts on crowd pleasing displays each time out – something which has seen him gain attention from both local fans and international audiences alike..
