BIOGRAPHY

Chris Duncan is a professional mixed martial artist and current UFC fighter. He is a two time All American wrestler at the University of Michigan. He made his professional debut in 2016 and has since gone on to become one of the top fighters in the flyweight division, with six wins in seven bouts.

A native of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Chris Duncan began wrestling at an early age and eventually went on to win both state championships as well as four regional titles while competing for Lewis Central High School. After graduating he attended college at the University of Michigan, where he became an All American wrestler twice over before transitioning into MMA full time.

He turned pro with Bellator MMA in 2016 after winning three amateur fights prior to joining them. After two wins and just one loss under their banner, he moved on to join Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA), where he had immediate success and won his first five fights by stoppage or unanimous decision. This earned him a contract offer from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

At UFC 239 in July 2019, Chris Duncan scored his first victory inside the famed Octagon against Marcelo Rojo via TKO due to strikes late in round 1. He followed this up with another impressive performance against veteran Ryan Benoit at UFC Fight Night: Chiesa vs Lee last June 2020 which earned him a Performance of The Night bonus award along with his second consecutive win within the company’s ranks.

In addition to being an accomplished competitor inside of cage or ring, Chris Duncan also runs his own grappling school called C-Dub Grappling Academy located minutes away from Las Vegas Nevada’s famous Strip district that caters mainly towards adult students who want learn how better defend themselves through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teachings as well as other forms submission wrestling across all different levels from beginners through experienced practitioners alike .
