BIOGRAPHY
Brogan Walker is an American professional mixed martial artist currently competing in the UFC Middleweight division. She has held several titles throughout her career, which includes the Tuff-N-Uff Women’s Flyweight Championship and the Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC) Women’s Flyweight Title.
Walker began training in MMA at age 18 and made her amateur debut two years later at 20. She quickly rose to prominence after winning four consecutive bouts within a year, two of which were by knockout. After those victories, she decided to turn pro in 2016 when she was 22 years old. That same year, she won the Tuff-N-Uff Women’s Flyweight Championship with a first round submission victory over Melissa Smartly via armbar submission. This win caught the attention of XFC who would sign her as their women’s flyweight champion shortly after that victory and gave Brogan an opportunity to show off on a bigger stage.
At XFC 30: The Undiscovered Warriors in 2017, Walker took on Angela Whitley for the company’s inaugural female championship belt and emerged victorious with an impressive second round stoppage due to strikes. Following this monumental win, Brogan quickly signed with Invicta FC where she won three out of four fights including victories over former UFC fighter Alyssa Krahn and then top contender Paulina Granados via unanimous decision before joining forces with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
In 2019, Walker was signed by UFC and made her promotional debut against Sarah Frota at UFC Fight Night 161 where she earned herself Performance of The Night honors for submitting Frota via reverse triangle choke early into round one; solidifying her spot as one of top contenders within women’s flyweight division within promotion hierarchy among other big names such as Valentina Shevchenko & Joanna Jedrzejczyk . From that point forward Brogan has gone 2-1 inside octagon earning notable wins against Cortney Casey & Priscilla Cachoeira before suffering setback against Lauren Murphy earlier this year however regardless none can deny what impactful addition this young woman has been since emerging onto scene few years ago while even more amazing feat maybe fact none have been able stop momentum ‘The Blazing Bantam’ created so far found immense success thus far gaining respect fans along way making it clear truly sky limit for what could happen next during upcoming 2021 season !
