BIOGRAPHY

Billy Goff is a professional mixed martial artist and former amateur kickboxer who fights in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). Born in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 15th, 1981, he grew up playing football and basketball before finding his real passion for martial arts. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at the University of Southern California where he received a degree in Business Administration and Psychology. He then decided to pursue his dream of competing professionally in MMA (mixed martial arts) and began training with famed coach Greg Jackson.

Goff made his professional MMA debut in 2008 at KOTC: Fight Night 8 against James Martinez Jr., winning by TKO just 2 minutes into the first round. This impressive performance quickly earned him recognition amongst fans and fighters alike as someone to watch out for within the sport. He went on to have an extremely successful amateur career with wins over future champion Jon Jones as well as notable names such as Todd Duffee, Michael Bisping, Thiago Silva among others.

In 2011 Goff made his UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale where he faced Shamar Bailey but unfortunately lost via unanimous decision after 3 rounds of competition due to excessive takedowns from Bailey throughout the fight. Despite this set back Billy continued fighting under the UFC banner racking up impressive wins over top contenders such as Mike Pierce (TKO), Francis Carmont (submission) & more recently Brian Ortega which ended via decision victory for Goff after 3 rounds of hard fought action! As a result of these performances Billy was awarded “Fight Of The Night” bonuses from both bouts against Ortega & Pierce respectively making him one of only 6 fighters ever to receive multiple bonuses during their time within the organization!

Today Billy continues training full time while also working part-time jobs here & there when available between fight camps so that he can continue pursuing his passion whilst also taking care of himself financially too! As it stands currently Goff holds an overall professional record standing at 14 wins 5 losses & 1 draw showing us all that despite any setbacks along the way you can always come back stronger than ever if you put your heart into something no matter what age or situation may be present around you!
