BIOGRAPHY

Liang Na is one of the top martial artist from China, currently competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He made his professional MMA debut in 2009, and for the remainder of his career has fought exclusively in China. Throughout his career he has won numerous titles including: The Chinese National Martial Arts Championships and The Asia Pacific Combat Sports Championships. He is widely regarded as one of the best fighters to come out of China.

An incredible athlete, Liang Na was a naturally gifted fighter from an early age. He began training when he was just 10 years old under master Trainer Wang Zhong Wei at Qing’s Kung Fu Club in Zibo City Shandong Province, where he learned various traditional Chinese styles such as Wushu and Sanda. During this time he also trained at Sun Jike Academy where he learnt Muay Thai technique and Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals which later became integral to his fighting style. As a young fighter Liang showed great promise and won several tournaments during this period.

At 22 years old Liang moved to Beijing with Master Wang deciding that it would be beneficial for him to train full time against stronger competition if he were to reach more success in martial arts competitions. This proved successful as soon after moving Liang went on to win The Asian Pacific Combat Sports Championship 2009 becoming both champion of Lightweight Division 1 & 2 on the same night! From then onwards there was no looking back for Liang who continued taking part in international competitions such as the World Grand Prix Mixed Martial Arts 2010; winning silver medalist twice consecutively at lightweight division 1 & 2 respectively before going on to become first ever winner of heavyweight division 1 at Asian Cup 2013; not long afterwards winning gold medalist again at 2017 Asian Cup finals once again becoming champion for lightweight divisions 1 & 2 simultaneously!
From then onwards there seemed no stopping him and so it was natural progression that ultimately led him towards joining UFC 2018 – marking history being first ever native born Chinese fighter signed by them – amazing feat indeed! Since then we have seen some truly remarkable performances from Mr Na earning himself 5 wins out 6 fights with 3 finishes inside distance making quite spectacular statement within promotion so far!

Despite having immense talent which puts him amongst some great fighters worldwide – what really sets apart from rest is his attitude both inside outside cage – showing strong values respect all times regardless situation or outcome very admirable trait sure take far future endeavours alike!
