Christian Rozeboom's Biography

Christian Rozeboom, born on January 30, 1997, has honed an illustrious career as an American professional football player. Presently, he plays as a linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams, a prominent team in the National Football League (NFL). Rozeboom is a prime example of unyielding dedication to his art and his indefatigable willpower to succeed in his chosen sport.

Christian commenced his football journey during his college years at South Dakota State. He was part of the South Dakota State Jackrabbits team for five seasons, taking a redshirt during his initial year. His time at South Dakota State not only formed the poetry of his early career but also paved the way for the formation of a school-record. Rozeboom’s exemplary performance saw him record a whopping 475 tackles. His tally also included 29 tackles resulting in a loss, six sacks, eight forced fumbles, and eight interceptions.

In the spring of 2020, specifically April 26, Rozeboom’s career underwent a significant evolution. Despite not being drafted, the Los Angeles Rams saw potential in Rozeboom and signed him as a free agent. However, his journey was not without hindrances. Rozeboom faced adversity when he was waived on September 5, 2020, during the final roster cuts. Despite this setback, his resilience and determination kept him grounded. The Rams overlooked his waiver and re-signed him to the team’s practice squad the very next day.

At the start of 2021, on January 18, Rozeboom entered into a reserve/futures contract with the Rams. His journey came full circle when he was waived again at the culmination of the training camp on August 31, 2021. Despite being waived twice within a year, Rozeboom never let these hardships deter him. Instead, he continued to push, improve, and make a name for himself in the sport.

In September 2021, he found opportunity on the horizon when he was signed onto the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad. Rozeboom, with his continuous hard work and perseverance, got promoted to the active roster on October 24, 2021. This promotion came just in time for the team’s Week 7 game against the Tennessee Titans, marking Rozeboom’s NFL debut. He played for the most part on special teams and made his first career tackle in the game.

On November 2, 2021, Rozeboom was once again called by the Rams, who signed him off the Chiefs’ practice squad. His return to the Rams bought him a Super Bowl ring when the team triumphed over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.

In March 2023, the Rams tendered Rozeboom. After solidifying his place in the team’s roster, he was re-signed on April 17, 2023. Throughout the 17 games of the season, Rozeboom made 5 starts and secured his place as the team’s fourth-highest tackler with 79 tackles.
