Dorsey’s basketball journey began at Ribét Academy in his freshman season; he later transferred to St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. He made waves in his sophomore year with an impressive scoring average of 17.0 points per game and subsequently led his team to a state championship win as a junior.
As Dorsey’s senior year approached, he returned to his hometown, Pasadena, transferring to Maranatha High School. His scoring capabilities were on full display as he averaged an astounding 34.0 points per game, embellishing his stats with 10.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. As of March 1, 2023, Dorsey began playing for Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahçe under the coaching of Dimitrios Itoudis, his Greek national team coach. The team also includes his teammates Nick Calathes and Kostas Antetokounmpo. After two seasons with Fenerbahçe, Dorsey returned to Olympiacos, inking a three-year contract with them.
