Yainer Radhames Díaz, a Dominican-born professional baseball player, was born on September 21, 1998, in Azua, Dominican Republic. As a catcher, he plays for the Houston Astros in Major League Baseball (MLB). His journey in professional baseball began when he signed with the Cleveland Indians as an international free agent in December 2016. The stepping stone in his career came in 2017 in the form of his professional debut, where he played in 42 games for the Dominican Summer League Indians, impressing with his sterling performance comprising one home run and 21 runs batted in.
