Robert Andrew Witt Jr. was born on June 14, 2000, into a family where baseball ran in the blood. He made a meteoric rise through the ranks of local leagues to take his place among the stars of Major League Baseball (MLB). Today, Witt is best known as the shortstop for the Kansas City Royals – a position that has been carved out by none other than his spectacular performance on the field.

Growing up in Colleyville, Texas, Witt attended the local Colleyville Heritage High School, where his batting prowess was apparent.
