Taylen Green, born on October 18, 2002, is an accomplished American football quarterback who currently plays for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Before his transfer to Arkansas, Green had a noteworthy career at Boise State University playing for the Boise State Broncos. Known for his exceptional performance as quarterback, Green’s football journey and achievements are nothing short of impressive.

Green spent his formative years in Lewisville, Texas, where he attended Lewisville High School. During his time there, he showcased an extraordinary talent for football. Particularly in his junior year, Green’s performances stood out as he successfully passed for a staggering 2,217 yards and 25 touchdowns. His skills did not go unnoticed, eventually leading him to commit to Boise State University to play college football.

In 2021, Green’s first year at Boise State, he played in two games serving as a backup to the prominent Hank Bachmeier. Although he didn’t start as the primary quarterback, the experience gained during this period was instrumental in shaping his upcoming football career. In 2022, Green once again started as a backup to Bachmeier. However, his resilience and unyielding determination led to him finally getting his chance to lead the team as the starting quarterback.

Green’s first-ever career start, although it came with its challenges, proved his worth. Despite passing for only 48 yards, he ran for an impressive 105 yards and scored two touchdowns, demonstrating his outstanding potential.

The real turning point in Green’s college football journey was in 2023, when he led the Boise State to the grand Mountain West Conference (MWC) championship. His performance in the match not only won the Broncos the trophy but also earned him the coveted MWC championship game Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. However, this success didn’t keep Green glued to Boise State. On December 4, 2023, he made the surprising decision to enter the transfer portal.

About a week later, on December 11, 2023, Green stirred up anticipation and excitement as he announced his transfer to Arkansas. The buzz around this new start for Green heightened as he took to the field in his debut for the Arkansas Razorbacks. Playing against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Green emanated an invigorating energy. He threw for 229 yards and 2 touchdowns, while additionally rushing for another 88 yards and scoring 2 touchdowns on the ground.
