Originally hailing from South Carolina, Sellers strutted his skills as the quarterback for the South Carolina Gamecocks, establishing his reputation at an early age and becoming a significant figure in his team’s lineup.

Sellers is an alumnus of South Florence High School, based in Florence, South Carolina. He diligently led the Bruins to secure victory in the SCHSL 4A State Championship. During the championship, the Bruins won with a solid score of 57-30 against the Northwestern Trojans.
