Jeremiyah Love is a powerhouse on the football field, known best for his position as the running back for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Born on May 31, 2005, he has already made his mark on the American football scene, but his career is only just beginning. This up-and-coming star has notched several high-profile victories and awards into his belt, establishing a strong foundation for what promises to be a fruitful continue in the game.

Love’s athletic career began in St. Louis, Missouri, at Christian Brothers College High School. It was there that his preeminent skills, particularly in football, started to shine through. But the gridiron wasn’t Love’s only battlefield. He also participated actively in basketball, demonstrating his overall athletic talents.

His junior season review paints the portrait of a prospective sports luminary. Love clocked an impressive 996 rushing yards alongside 14 touchdowns. His on-field prowess was instrumental in securing the MSHSAA Class 6A State Championship, a victory that put him under the spotlight.

But the young player had more to offer. In his senior season, his performance scaled even greater height. Love amassed a staggering 1,291 yards along with 22 touchdowns from only 140 carries. His remarkable form extended to receiving, where he notched 13 receptions accumulating 370 yards and five touchdowns.

The highlight of the season was undeniably the Championship game against Lee’s Summit North. In a mesmerizing performance, Love chalked up 317 total yards, divided between 211 rushing and 106 receiving, topped off with five touchdowns. His effortless dominance earned him the prestigious titles of MaxPreps Missouri High School Football Player of the Year and Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year alongside an Under Armour All-American badge.

As Love exited high school, he was already lauded as a four-star recruit. His talents were ranked as the 59th best in the class of 2023. In the niche of running backs, he was hailed among the top four. The future star fielded offers from multiple esteemed schools including Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, Utah, USC, and Washington.

When the time came to commit to a college, Love chose the prestige-footballing institute, Notre Dame. His inaugural season commenced in 2023 with a dashing 36-yard run that culminated in his first career touchdown against Tennessee State. Love finished his first year with successful 71 rushes that resulted in 385 yards and a touchdown, along with eight receptions adding up to 77 yards and another touchdown.
