Jayden Fielding, an acknowledged American football kicker who currently plays for the esteemed Ohio State Buckeyes, originates from League City, Texas. Born and raised in this vibrant city, he attended Clear Creek High School and demonstrated a persistent passion for football from an early age. Wanting to further refine his skills and prepare for a prospective career in athletics, he made the conscious decision to transfer to IMG Academy, where he honed his craft under exceptional guidance.

During his senior season at IMG Academy, Fielding’s remarkable talent began to truly flourish. Displaying an incredible accuracy and compositional strength in his leg, he managed an impressive 50-yard field goal. His consistent performance made him a standout figure with a staggering conversion rate of 91 percent of his kickoffs for touchbacks. It was these performances that had numerous colleges scouting his talent, but ultimately, Fielding would choose to commit to Ohio State University as a preferred walk-on, solidifying his ambition and pursuit of football.

He began his illustrious collegiate career at Ohio State in the 2022 season as a true freshman. Amidst the bustling, competitive atmosphere of collegiate games, Fielding performed remarkably, handling kickoff duties in all 13 games for the Buckeyes.
