Isaiah Neyor's Biography

Born on June 7, 2001, in Fort Worth, Texas, Isaiah Neyor moved up the ranks from a football enthusiast to the American football wide receiver of note that he is today.

Growing up in Fort Worth, Isaiah attended Lamar High School and made a mark in the school’s football team. His senior year was particularly striking, as he achieved 39 receptions for a staggering 858 yards, culminating in eight touchdowns. Yet, high school was just the beginning for this talented receiver.

With eye-catching accomplishments in his portfolio, Isaiah attracted offers from several competitive college football programs. This included teams from the Incarnate Word, Western Illinois, and Division II Henderson State. However, Neyor’s commitment leaned towards the Wyoming Cowboys, a choice that would set the foundation for his college football journey.

As a freshman at Wyoming, he caught eight passes, covering 248 yards over six games. His performance put his average at an impressive 31 yards, a testament to his skill and consistent growth. As Isaiah developed during his time at Wyoming, he quickly became a notable figure in the Mountain West Conference.

In 2021, his evolution on the field culminated in his selection to the second team, All-Mountain West Conference. He finished that season praiseworthy, making 44 receptions for 878 yards, including 12 touchdowns. However, following that season, he decided to take a significant step towards the diversity of his career.

Exploring new opportunities to widen his football expertise, Isaiah entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. Several schools, including the University of Tennessee, Ole Miss, and USC, considered his skills beneficial for their teams. Amid these prospective offers, Neyor decided to go along with the University of Tennessee.

His commitment to Tennessee was momentary, as two weeks later, he switched his dedication to the University of Texas. This action resonated with his intention to develop a broader perspective on the game while also signing with one of the experienced football schools.

Unfortunately, his first season at Texas was not as smooth as expected. Neyor suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament during preseason training camp, an injury that kept him off the field for a considerable period.

Despite the setback, Neyor seemed undeterred. On December 8, 2023, he announced his intention to enter the transfer portal for the second time. This decision threw various speculations into the air, with many curious about his next move.

The suspense did not last too long. On January 5, 2024, Neyor confirmed the rumors by committing to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. There, he pledged to serve as a wide receiver, a position that has been his stronghold since stepping into the realm of football.
