Born on December 8, 2003, Braedyn Duncan Locke rose from Rockwall, Texas, to become a promising player in the world of American football. This talented quarterback is currently contributing his skills to the Wisconsin Badgers, having previously played for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Growing up in Rockwall, Locke participated in high-school football at his hometown school. He demonstrated remarkable prowess on the field, passing for an outstanding 11,182 yards. In week seven of the 2023 season, circumstances saw Locke replacing their lead quarterback, Tanner Mordecai, due to an injury. Completing 15 of 30 passes for 122 yards in his first substantial game, Locke signaled his ability to compete effectively. While his team didn’t win, his performance depicted his potential. His debut was marred slightly by an interception and a lost fumble, resulting in a tough 15-6 loss to Iowa.

However, Locke looked past this initial setback. When Mordecai was ruled out for the rest of the season, he was bestowed the starting position. Locke’s first official start was an impressive showing. He completed 21 out of his 41 pass attempts, marking 240 yards, and scoring two touchdowns. Significantly, Locke aided the Wisconsin Badgers in recovering from an 18-point deficit to triumph over Illinois.
