Anthony Colandrea is an American-born, skilled football quarterback currently playing for the Virginia Cavaliers. Born on October 16, 2004, in Saint Petersburg, Florida, his journey to the top was marked by his passion and prodigious talent for the game.

His affinity for football became evident during his early years at Lakewood High School, where he began demonstrating his prowess on the field. Despite his stellar individual performance, the Virginia Cavaliers fell to a heart-breaking 36-35 loss to James Madison during this game. Despite the team’s loss, Colandrea’s commendable performance didn’t go unnoticed; he was awarded the ACC Freshman of the Week for his phenomenal efforts.

Colandrea’s freshman season saw him start in six games, during which he racked up 1,958 yards with 13 touchdowns and nine interceptions. However, the season had its challenges as well. The Virginia Cavaliers managed only a disappointing 1-5 record that year. Nonetheless, Colandrea’s potential was apparent, and he has ample time and opportunity to grow and contribute further to his team.
